Sweetest Gift Video Shoot
Eleven years after the release of my last full album, Let My Light Shine, at last I am bringing new music in finished, radio ready form to your patient listening ears!!!
New Single: “Our Sweetest Gift” -Thanksgiving!
Yes! Finally! The first single of my new album Masterpiece will be dropping on Thanksgiving Day! I was shooting footage for the video today with my son Caleb. Pray that we can get it all done in time!
It a Christmas single… full of celebration and the joy of Christ’s birth!
Here is a silly video I made right after the shoot while still wearing one of my costumes for the video!
You see, I didn’t have a real baby or a baby doll availabe for the video shoot- so I wrapped by dear Barnibus Bear up in a shawl! He did a great job! Normally Barni sports a Doctor Who outfit from Build-a-Bear with an added plush guitar! But those things didn’t fit the 1st century mood for the video!
The final mix will be produced by the great Neal Merrick Blackwood of Black Mountain, and will include marvelous performances by string master Cremaine Booker, gorgeous harmonies by the Brighter Day Community Choir of Charlotte, NC, luscious guitar and piano playing by Chris Rosser, bass by Zack Page, cameos by Gabe Paradis and Diana Botello- lead vocal and songwriting- ME!

We have had a bit of a set back on releasing the whole album on time- partially because of Hurricane MIlton devastating the Asheville, NC area where I have been recording this! Many of my musicians and producer had to evacuate their homes!
They still need your prayers as they rebuild their lives! I am extremely grateful to Neal, still putting together my final mix despite lack of internet and full access to his equipment. He is a hero!
