Dear friends and fans,

I am sorry it’s been so long! But you understand busy- We are all too busy these days! I pray you are happy, thriving, growing, grateful, healthy…

So Ralph and I will be playing at the Hope Worldwide fundraiser for the Sinouk Hospital in Cambodia this Saturday April 13th 7-9pm! It’s at the YMCA in Methuen, 165 Haverhill St., Methuen, MA 01844

This is an honor to be asked back. Last year we played and helped to raise over $2000 for the free hospital.  This is an amazing hospital in a country torn by war and left without adequate doctors to care for the sick. Thank you in advance for coming! Suggested donation is $10.

Ralph and I will be playing a short set of originals with maybe a surprise thrown in, including our Hope theme song: “Hope Faith Love.”- and some songs about our story, too!

The week after that, on Sunday April 20th we will be joining the Northwest Praise Band to lead a glorious Easter Worship service at The Butler Middle School Auditorium, 1140 Gorham St., Lowell, MA 10am.  Come be moved by the message and get your praise on!
Speaking of getting your praise on…  I  started one of several new ventures this week. You may know I often perform at nursing Homes and Assisted Living communities- usually singing a mix of musical theatre and folk and jazz standards; well this time I was hired to lead a worship hour! Despite sharing in leading worship most Sundays at church, I have never done this completely alone.  I put together a program of mostly old favorite hymns, like “How Great Thou Art”, “Old Rugged Cross”, “I Surrender All” etc interspersed with some scriptures and some sharing from my life and about Easter coming and I was so amazed and blessed by their response. The elderly folks not only sang along but seemed genuinely moved. I look forward to returning to Benchmark in Woburn again on May 12 at 6:45pm.

Another special spiritual musical event in the recent past was our annual Women’s Brunch. I was honored once again to be part of the all women’s band for the event and I got to sing my song “Masterpiece” with a cool bassa arrangement spurred on by my very talented friend and singer, Morgan Minsk. Our Girl Band included: Kayla McGarr, Molly Farmer, Coraina Alvarado, Kristen Lamb and Morgan (All pictured here) and also Kathy O’Fallon on bass on the the other songs. Some 300 women came to enjoy the music and the program about how marvelous our God is! That was in March.
Happy Julie Collage
And just so the younger generations won’t feel left out, I have been doing a weekly gig as Happy Julie at the Boys and Girls Club in East Boston. This week we had a little show with the 5-7 year olds. They were super cute! I had about 100 other children singing along, too!
I am many things and wear many faces in my life as a musician- but under it all I am a song writer who loves to express my heart through song. I will be singing as part of a Songwriter in the Round at the Hearing Room, 119 Chelmsford St, Lowell, MA on Friday Evening May 3rd, 8-10.

Spring Student recital will be Sunday June 9th, 5pm, at the First Congregational church in Billerica, MA!

Always lots going on! Hope to see you at one of my upcoming shows!

I am so blessed to do music for a living! – And to have you to do it for!
