Julie Kinscheck is a passionate singer-songwriter/ guitarist, author, worship leader and teacher. Some fans call her “The Queen of SCAT” because of her love for vocal improvisation; that’s where the “Kick of JAZZ” comes from! But her songs are so much more than just fun! Kinscheck shares genuine feelings, deep hurts and glorious hope through her lyrics and personal stories between songs.

Kinscheck rose out of a broken home. The disillusionment of her faith, through soul crushing vocal damage, heartbreaking infertility, chronic health challenges and more to stand on the rock, her savior Jesus add authenticity to her songwriting. Now every song she writes and sings is to shine his light in the world.

Having released four full length albums, Kinscheck is currently releasing singles (6 so far) for her Black Mountain Sessions project with renowned producer Neal Merrick Blackwood. Her contemporary Christian jazzy/pop style is a bit unorthodox, but her fans can’t hear enough of it!  You can listen to her songs on all platforms.

She is also author of the vocal training book and online series: Vocal Training for Praise Singers. A known authority for training worship leaders, she also directs workshops and keynotes concerts at conferences and churches across the US and central Europe.
