I will be competing for the Vocalist of the Year crown through Bridging the Music!
Actually, I will be singing in the preliminary round that night- and as I understand it- I can move on from there.
But this is one of those- The artist with the biggest fan base wins type of deals… which is intimidating! Especially since I don’t play college drinking rock… I don’t have the same draw as some younger artists do- so I will really need the help of my awesome adult fans!!!!
I love to sing! And I love jazz, too- but the trouble is, most jazz doesn’t have a message- so… I write Christian cross over pop etc with SCAT solos thrown in… that’s kind of a new animal! But it is my ministry and I am grateful to those of you that are moved to join in in it! Because it is God that gave me the pipes and God who gave me the words to write… and God who will save those that are moved to seek him out through my songs!
The Bridging the Music Artist Showcase will go from 4pm on November 3rd.. so come early and hear lots of wonderful music…
